This week was not a good week for sticking to my meal plan. With the disappointing news of failing my CPA exams, I ate whatever I felt like eating. Most mornings this week, there wasn’t even enough time for breakfast. Thankfully I didn’t binge eat and consume everything in sight. I maintained my weight at 125 pounds.
I did however begin to workout more regularly. After my middle son was born I purchased the Winsor Pilates DVD series. I had used a couple of them, but they mostly just sat on the shelf collecting dust. With the encouragement my twitter friends, I used the DVD’s five times last week. The AB Sculpting DVD was by far the hardest one for me. I never realized how out of shape I really am. Doing a basic push up is pretty comical to watch me do.
I also did a little bit of running outside, and I really enjoyed it. I would love to be able to wake up early and get in a good run through our subdivision a couple of times a week. With all the smoke in the air from the two fires near us, this probably won’t become a reality for a few weeks.
I will be back to my study routine this week, so I am trying to figure out how to balance my meal planning, workouts, and studying. I will continue to make omlette’s for breakfast and a salad for lunch, but dinner gets tricky. There will be nights that I need to begin studying as quickly as possible, so fast meals work best for those days.
