Welcome to my website and allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Elena Tercero, I currently live in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where I was born and raised. I love and enjoy
living in Santa Fe, where I have so many childhood memories. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Brian Tercero, and we have four beautiful children. You could say that I have a love for learning, having earned a BBA in accounting and an MBA in Finance. I received my CPA certificate in May 2012, my CGMA certificate in September 2012, and my CGFM certification in June 2015.
My working career began with summer work at the age of 13. Summers passed quickly for me, working and learning the value of hard work at an early age. My work environments progressed from working with youth, to conducting surveys about our increasing dropout rate in Santa Fe, to working with the Local Sheriff’s Department warrant division, to the financial arena that I currently am in.
Accounting side of my life
Through the process of being in school and studying for my certifications, I realized that owning my own business would be a reality. I enjoy helping others with the information that I know and love, accounting. I see so many small business owners build during the year, adding income and customers to their business but then at the end of the year, don’t know what to do because they didn’t properly plan for tax season. I don’t want for people to feel stressed and confused at the end of the year, so I started Little Light Accounting.
Importance of Fitness
After having baby number 4, I knew it was time to take control of my health and fitness. I needed to do this for me and for my family. I didn’t want for 10 years to pass, the kids were grown and we couldn’t move along with them. I don’t want to miss graduation, wedding and grandchildren because I didn’t take the time to care for myself and to teach my kids the importance of their health for their life. Because of that I started an online fitness company and also teach live fitness classes. Momentum Fitness was born.
