What can a person do in eighteen months? Graduate with a Master’s Degree, yes; pass the CPA exam, that is the goal!
I began to study for the CPA exam in 2009, passed the Business section of the exam in November 2009 and the clock began to tick. 18 months from the first passing score, I need to complete all four sections of the exam or the credit will expire. When I passed my first section May 23, 2011 seemed so far away and like such an attainable goal. Then reality set in. Study for a section, sit for the exam, study for another section, take that exam, wait for scores, fail sections, and the cycle repeats, repeats, and repeats. Although I really thought that I would be done studying for the CPA exam by this point, I will continue to push forward. I have made it to the half way point and there is no way I will turn back now.
